Profhilo is a miracle skin booster which works as essentially an ‘injectable moisturiser’ for the skin. Profhilo is made up of the highest level of concentrated Hyaluronic Acid on the market. It stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, key proteins for full, smooth, wrinkle-free skin. Elastin fibres become more susceptible to wear-and-tear as we age and the production of collagen naturally slows down. As we age, the presence of hyaluronic acid in the skin naturally starts to drop, which causes the skin to lose its natural firmness and elasticity, this normally become noticeable by people in their 30’s. This makes Profhilo the perfect treatment for anyone looking to counteract this.
Profhilo is the perfect treatment for injecting hydration back into the skin to diminish sagging, dry and crepey. As Profhilo has one of the highest concentrations of HA for any product on the market, it is essentially pure Hylauronic Acid, which naturally occurs in the body to keep skin hydrated. When injected, it flows and distributes itself evenly amongst the body to keep skin hydrated and plump, therefore the helps to diminish the skin from sagging, dry and ‘crepeyness’.
A small needle is used to inject small amounts of Hyaluronic Acid into 5 specific areas on each side of the face, therefore there are 10 injections in total. A topical anaesthetic cream is applied prior to the treatment and generally takes around 30 minutes to perform, 60 minutes including consultation and prep. We normally recommend a course of 2-3 sessions of Profhilo to see the full effects of the treatment.
