Did you know the average length of time a person takes to consider having their first aesthetics appointment before having treatment is 2 years. Having any sort of injectables can be daunting and taking the time to do your research and consider your options is SO IMPORTANT. At VIVA, we understand this and want to help you on your treatment journey from start to finish. So, let’s start at the beginning…what to expect at your first aesthetic appointment.
Research, research, research
We understand the importance of research prior to your first aesthetics appointment at VIVA Skin Clinics so we are here to provide as much information as possible to help you make the right decision for YOU. We have a wide range of information on the various non-surgical procedures we offer including dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle treatments, Profhilo, SkinPen and more on our website. Furthermore, you can find us over on Instagram @VIVASkinClinics and full treatment videos on YouTube.
Booking your first appointment
The easiest way to book your first appointment with one of our wonderful practitioners is online. All new clients firstly need to have a consultation with their chosen injector. The first step is booked a face to face consultation. This is the appointment type you should select when you make your very first booking. If you aren’t sure, give one of our friendly team a call on 02037 332199 and they will arrange your booking over the phone. We require a booking fee to hold any appointment.
Aesthetic Consultation
The consultation is important for both patient and practitioner. Our experts want to understand why you want treatment and what you want to achieve. You might want to appear ‘less tires’, ‘less angry’ or ‘more youthful.’ The idea is to go over your desired results and put together your bespoke treatment plan. It’s important to understand that the procedure you expected might not be the best solution for you- how to achieve the best, most natural looking results will be explained by your practitioner. Your consultation is also the perfect opportunity to ask questions- you might want to find out more about the injector, their experience, how long the treatment will take and what to expect afterwards. These questions are completely normal and we welcome them! Your injector will tell you what to expect at your first aesthetic appointment.
Take your time
Once you have had your consultation, your individual treatment plan will be emailed to you to read over. If you are happy to proceed you can schedule your treatment appointment. This can be booked during your consultation if you wish or can be arranged online or over the phone.
First Aesthetic Treatment time!
The day of treatment can be nerve-wracking. We understand that and take steps to make the process as relaxed as possible. The appointment usually lasts around 1 hour but the majority of this time is taken up by discussing the procedure and waiting for the anaesthetic cream to take effect. The treatment itself is very quick and we use advanced techniques, the highest quality products and a numbing agent to minimse discomfort as much as we can.
