With botulinum toxin injections it can take up to 4 weeks to fully settle or kick in to notice results. Repeat treatments are required to reduce the bulk or size of the muscle over time. With all injections its important to remember to avoid the gym, steam room, saunas and sun beds for 48 hours after treatment.
