Lanluma is a collagen stimulating injectable treatment which is carried out by our medical practitioners at VIVA Skin Clinics.
The Lanluma bum lift is a safe procedure, that gives your bum a more rounded and desirable appearance by stimulating your natural collagen production.
Lanluma treatment is made up of Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) which has been used safely in aesthetic medicine for decades and creates wonderful, tried and tested results.
The bum lift procedure has very little risk or downtime, unlike BBL surgery, therefore, is a much safer alternative.

Before any treatment begins, you will have an in-depth consultation with us to talk through what you’d like to achieve in your bum lift procedure from the general volume to the overall shape.
Then, if you are happy to go ahead, your Lanluma bum lift treatment can proceed normally 1 hour later (Unlike other collagen stimulating injectable sessions (Sculptra) – for which you will have to schedule another session days later– your clinician can prepare and use Lanluma within 1 hour.
You are awake throughout the procedure and the whole process should take no more than 30 minutes and is not too painful. You will then have a local anaesthetic injected which will make the Lanluma bum lift virtually painless.
There may be some slight swelling for a couple of hours and the area is likely to feel tender for the days following the treatment.
This depends on how dramatic a result the client wishes to achieve – for a visible improvement to the bum area 6 vials are recommended (between 2 or 3 sessions). For more visible results or to also treat hip dips 8 vials are likely to be required.
Downtime is minimal, and your practitioner will explain fully and provide an easy aftercare guide to follow.
You’ll need to keep up a careful aftercare routine of regular massage for best results – for 10 minutes 2 x a day, until two weeks after your last session.
It’s very easy to maintain though; most people set a regular phone alarm, and some even find it a relaxing way to take some ‘me time’ in the day.
