A smile lights up a person’s face but not everyone is happy with how their smile looks. Some people feel that when they smile they show too much of their gums, or that their gums are simply too prominent when they smile and take all the glory away from their pearly white teeth – this is often referred to as a ‘gummy smile’ which can make people feel self-conscious and thus unwilling to smile, especially in photographs. If you’ve ever had a gummy smile, then you know how frustrating it can be to try and fix it. Thankfully, there are a few simple treatments like Botox and Lip Filler that can restore your smile’s aesthetics. If you find that you have a gummy smile, chances are that you have too much or show too much gum tissue and not enough teeth when smiling. You may notice this in your photos or in selfies.
For aesthetic results, we offer two treatment options. The first option is using Botox injections carefully injected into muscles that would allow the lip to relax slightly preventing the excessive showing of gums when you smile. The second treatment option is to inject the dermal filler into the lip to give more body to the upper lip and “hide” the gummy smile. Lip Filler can look natural and provide a simple solution to lower the lip.Both options use injectable medications for cosmetic enhancement and have little to no downtime.
