What is Total Transformation & Why do we run the series?
Total transformations is our series on Youtube where we give back to people and help transform their appearance and self-confidence through full-face dermal filler, anti-wrinkle and medical-grade skincare. Total transformations is a powerful series that allows us to help restore people’s confidence. In this episode, we are joined by Em, whose aim is to look 10yrs younger through dermal fillers!
What were Em’s main reasons for applying to Total Transformations?
In the simplest form, Em would like to utilize what filler and anti-wrinkle treatments do best, and that’s to make her look younger! Em initially asked for 20 years younger, but compromised with Dr Rupert and Clare that they could make her look 10 years younger! She, like many of us, has noticed changes in her facial structure as she’s aged and would like to banish these features from her face!
What treatments did she receive?
Like many of you out there, Em was apprehensive about treatment, Em talked through her concerns with Dr Rupert, to which he reassured her that this is completely normal! To alleviate any concerns or nerves, we recommend booking in with a medical professional for treatment, as this is the safest option. They spoke through em’s concerns, which one was her nasolabial folds (nose – mouth lines) as well as her marionette lines! As well as the wrinkles on her forehead were one of her primary concerns. Dr Rupert explained that these are all common signs of ageing and we lose volume primarily in the mid-face and things slowly start to shift downwards!
Skin Care Zone!
This is where Clare talks through Em Skin Care, what she’s currently doing, what’s working, what she likes and what she’d like to see in results. For Em, this was 3 things: hydration, glowing skin and sun protection – although not an outcome it is definitely something we suggest everyone has in their routine! To achieve these results for Em, we armed her with The Obagi NuDerm Kit. This is an amazing kit by a medical-grade skincare company, Obagi. The kit helps to transform skin by addressing hyperpigmentation and improving signs of visible ageing! We also gave her 2 additional products ELASTIDERM Facial Serum, which has the main property of copper! Copper is amazing at, addressing fine lines and wrinkles so, almost like a substitute for anti-wrinkle! Along with all of this copper is also amazing for skin firmness, smoothness and promoting collagen production!

What treatment did Em receive?
Em’s treatment is what we call a combination treatment meaning we treated it with the two things we do best, anti-wrinkle injections and dermal filler! Dr Rupert treated 3 areas of anti-wrinkle, which we suggest to all our patients that are wanting to prevent ageing in the future these being: forehead, frown lines and crow’s feet. We then moved on to dermal fillers which are made up of hyaluronic acid. Dr Rupert carried out the following:
- Cheek filler
- Temple filler
- Jawline filler
- Tear Trough filler
- Chin filler
- Lip filler
Results and Reactions!
Em instantly when asked responded that “it wasn’t painful at all actually” ! We then gave Em the mirror which is the most exciting part of treatment for us on the other side! Like many she was in disbelief, exclaiming “oh my god! That’s amazing, I literally look 15 years younger!” Which is what she wanted and we were ecstatic to hear! Something important to highlight is that Em still really felt like herself and this is something that she was conscious about from when we approached her about featuring on Total Transformations! We only ever want to enhance patients’ features, so we were delighted with her comment about still looking like herself!
