Polynucleotides are purified DNA fragments, most commonly derived from salmon or trout, injected into the skin in tiny amounts. They are often described as a “bio-remodelling” or regenerative treatment because they support the skin’s own repair processes rather than simply filling an area.
Once in the skin, polynucleotides help stimulate fibroblast activity (the cells that make collagen and elastin), improve hydration, and support a healthier skin environment. Results build gradually over a course of treatments. Polynucleotide treatments are injections under the skin usually with a lidocaine for treatment comfort.
Prices in London vary depending on the practitioner’s experience, the brand used (such as PLINEST, Nucleofill or Ameela), and whether you are treating a single area or the full face.
