SkinPen is a microneedling treatment which is perfect as a less invasive skin booster. It works by creating low level trauma to the surface of the skin and encouraging an immune response. If this is a treatment of interest to you, we recommend scheduling your SkinPen consultation 6 months prior to your wedding. We usually recommend 3-6 initial sessions spaced 30 days apart so preparation is key. What’s more, after just 24 hours you should notice a dewy glow to your complexion.
Who doesn’t want dewy, hydrated skin on their special day? Profhilo is the queen of hydration with the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid on the market, working to effectively stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, leaving skin smoother, brighter and younger looking.
Known as an injectable moisturiser, Profhilo takes around 2 months to fully take effect so we recommend preparing your skin in advance with your first session 3 months before you’re due to get hitched. Profhilo treatments come in pairs so you will need a second procedure around 4 weeks after the first. Both sessions together will work to boost hydration, improve skin laxity and also reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It will take around two month for the hyaluronic acid to really do it’s work and for maximum results to develop.

1 month pre-wedding is the ideal time for a filler procedure because it allows enough time for residual swelling to subside, the product to completely settle and to ensure you are completely happy with results.
Similarly, if you are considering anti-wrinkle injections, we recommend allowing around 4 weeks between your initial treatment and your big day. Anti-wrinkle injections take 2 weeks to develop so it’s important not leave this procedure too late.
